{"id":199493,"date":"2022-06-28T04:45:50","date_gmt":"2022-06-28T03:45:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/?p=199493"},"modified":"2022-06-28T05:35:50","modified_gmt":"2022-06-28T04:35:50","slug":"dad-uncle-remanded-for-allegedly-defiling-daughter-in-niger","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2022\/06\/28\/dad-uncle-remanded-for-allegedly-defiling-daughter-in-niger\/","title":{"rendered":"Dad, uncle remanded for allegedly defiling daughter in Niger"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A 35-year-old man, Stanley Eze, and his 32-year-old brother, Obina Eze, of Anguwan-Kadara, Maitumbi area of Minna, Niger State, have been remanded at the Minna Correctional Centre\u00a0for allegedly having unlawful sexual intercourse and incest with an 11-year-old daughter of the senior Eze.<\/p>\n<p>According to the police report, Mrs Loveth Eze, the mother of the victim, reported to the police on March 26, that her husband, Stanley Eze, had <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2022\/04\/08\/my-father-told-me-holy-spirit-instructed-him-to-have-sexual-intercourse-with-me-teenager-tells-court\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sexual intercourse<\/a> with their daughter twice in 2020 while they were in the village in Enugu State and also in Maitumbi, Minna.<\/p>\n<p>Mrs Eze also informed the police that her brother-in-law, Obina Eze, lured the same girl to a room in their house at Maitumbi on February 27, this year while they (parents) were not at home and forcefully had sexual intercourse with her, adding that he thereafter had sexual intercourse with the victim on several occasions.<\/p>\n<p>The suspects, however, denied the allegations, after which the prosecutor, Sergeant Ogiri Emmanuel, called the mother and the victim to testify.<\/p>\n<p>The case was adjourned to July 7.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A 35-year-old man, Stanley Eze, and his 32-year-old brother, Obina Eze, of Anguwan-Kadara, Maitumbi area of Minna, Niger State, have been remanded at the Minna Correctional Centre\u00a0for allegedly having unlawful sexual intercourse and incest with an 11-year-old daughter of the senior Eze.
