Daniel Akpeyi, a Nigerian goalkeeper, is eager to get his career back on track after leaving South African Premier League club Kaizer Chiefs.<\/p>\n
Following the expiration of his contract, Akpeyi was let go by the Amakhosi last month.<\/p>\n
Since December 2021, the goalie has not made an official appearance for the Glamour Boys. He will turn 36 next week.<\/p>\n
He made 69 appearances for the club following his arrival from another South African outfit, Chippa United in 2019.<\/p>\n
The former Warri Wolves shot stopper has been linked with the likes of Orlando Pirates, Sekhukhune United and AmaZulu since leaving Kaizer Chiefs.<\/p>\n
\u201cFor now, I\u2019m just preparing myself by going through my own pre-season, while waiting for the right time to sign,\u201d he told KickOff.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn preparing myself, I\u2019m keeping fit by training with one of the top goalkeeper trainers.<\/p>\n
