The Leader-General of the All Christian Practical Praying Band, Dan Nwokolo, has been abducted by suspected gunmen. <\/p>\n
The assailants invaded the residence of the cleric in Ufuma, in the Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra State, and abducted him after he finished a midnight prayer session.<\/p>\n
According to a family source, the abductors picked the cleric from his car in front of his house and immediately zoomed off in their vehicle.<\/p>\n
The source said the hoodlums had yet to establish contact with Nwokolo\u2019s family.<\/p>\n
He said, \u201cThe incident happened last night (Wednesday) in front of his house as he was coming back from a prayer session. The hoodlums cornered his vehicle right in front of his compound, ordered him down and whisked him away in their vehicle and immediately zoomed off.\u201d<\/p>\n
The state police spokesman, Tochukwu Ikenga, promised to get back to our correspondent after making enquiries.<\/p>\n
