Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has said enemies of the state will be dealt with. <\/p>\n
Speaking on Wednesday during the Hijrah 1444 luncheon, held at the Government House, Agodi, Ibadan, Makinde said that he will not allow the enemies of the state to succeed..<\/p>\n
Makinde disclosed that the enemies of the state were the criminal elements. <\/p>\n
Some of those who graced the occasion included Chief Bayo Oyero, Senator Monsurat Sumonu, Okere of Saki, Oba Khalid Olabisi, Alhaji Hammed Raji (SAN) and Sheik Taofeek Akewugbagold.<\/p>\n
Makinde, while addressing the gathering, explained that his administration has overhauled the security system in the state.<\/p>\n
He said that the only enemies of the state are the criminal elements.<\/p>\n
He, however, vowed that his administration will deal with the enemies irrespective of who they are.<\/p>\n
Who are our enemies? They are the criminal elements, but whoever they are, we will deal with them in Oyo State.<\/p>\n
