The All Progressives Congress (APC) has denied alleged plans to remove its Adamawa State chairman, Alhaji Ibrahim Bilal, from office.<\/p>\n

Raymond Chidama, the state APC secretary, stated this when he spoke with newsmen in Yola on Thursday, NAN reports.<\/p>\n

Chidama described the allegation as baseless and unfounded, saying that \u2018it was the handiwork of opposition parties.\u2019<\/p>\n

According to him, contrary to the rumours, there was unity among all stakeholders in the state toward winning the 2023 General Election<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Recall that Bilal had, in 2021, won the majority votes in the party\u2019s state congress to return as the chairman.<\/p>\n

Bilal polled 1060 votes to clinch the office following the contest, which involved three other chairmanship aspirants.<\/p>\n

His closest rival, Hon. Vrati Nzozon, got 224 votes, while immediate past Organising Secretary, Ahmed Lawan got 47 votes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
