The National Publicity Secretary of the Labour Party (LP), Comrade Arabambi Abayomi, has said the party is not a social media party and will win the 2023 elections with 22 million votes.<\/p>\n

Abayomi stated this in Lagos, adding there are more than 22 million registered voters who have indicated interest in the party.<\/p>\n

He said Nigerians are yearning for change as the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has failed to meet the expectations of the people.<\/p>\n

WITHIN NIGERIA recalls that Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, has downplayed the influence and acceptability of Labour party, describing it has a social media party<\/a>.<\/p>\n

During a meeting with All Progressives Congress (APC) members and stakeholders in Imo, Uzodimma urged the party faithful not to pay heed to opposition parties that are \u201conly strong on social media\u201d.<\/p>\n

However, Abayomi said, \u201cWe are not a social media political party. The people that are conducting our rallies across the states are human beings. We are the new phenomenon, the uncommon political party that will move our nation from consumption to production.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs I speak now, with the number of support groups that have registered with their voters\u2019 cards and telephone numbers, we have 22 million Nigerians with us. And we are expecting more before December.<\/p>\n

\u201cNigerians are yearning for change; they have gone through a lot and they know the person they want to lead them. You can see that all across Nigeria, the movement is so massive because Peter Obi<\/a> is the only pan-Nigeria candidate who the people trust.
