After declaring that \u2018black and brown\u2019 people should not mourn the Queen\u2019s death, Former Manchester City star, Trevor Sinclair is now under investigation by sports radio company, talkSport,\u00a0where he works as a football pundit and commentator.<\/p>\n

Barely few hours after the Queen\u2019s death<\/a> was announced, Trevor Sinclair tweeted that racism in the United Kingdom had \u2018thrived\u2019 during her 70-year reign.<\/p>\n

The sports world pulsed to mourn the Queen who died on Thursday at the age of 96 at Balmoral.<\/p>\n

But Sinclair felt the monarch does not deserve a last respect from people of black or brown colours.<\/p>\n

\u201cRacism was outlawed in England in the 60\u2019s & it\u2019s been allowed to thrive so why should black and brown mourn!!\u201d He boldly tweeted, according to Manchester Evening News.<\/p>\n

And shortly after his tweet, Talksport announced that it was attempting to make contact with the former Premier League star to discuss the tweet.<\/p>\n

It said: \u201ctalkSport does not support those views expressed and is investigating the matter.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sinclair\u2019s comments further received a furious backlash from colleagues.<\/p>\n

Former Crystal Palace owner, Simon Jordan, who also works with talkSport with Sinclair, said, \u201cTrev, I\u2019m really not sure that is an appropriate thought, let alone tweet. The country has lost a very significant person and respect and value should be the overriding sentiments not division!\u201d<\/p>\n

Georgie Bingham, another colleague of Sinclair at talkSport, said: \u201cBloody hell Trev. What the hell are you thinking?\u201d<\/p>\n

And former Peterborough United striker, Aaron McLean added: \u201cTo say I\u2019m confused as to why you\u2019ve felt the need to tweet this is an understatement.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
