It is expected that resources will be stretched both in the UK capital and beyond.<\/p>\n
Fixtures such as Manchester United vs. Leeds and Chelsea vs. Liverpool on Sunday are among those being discussed, with additional meetings scheduled for today.<\/p>\n
Arsenal’s Europa League group game against PSV on Thursday is also in doubt, while Rangers’ Champions League match against Napoli has been postponed for 24 hours, with away fans barred.<\/p>\n
Other options are being considered. It is thought that switching games has already been discussed.<\/p>\n
However, Everton are at home on the same day Chelsea would instead head to Anfield. Leicester Tigers are also in action on Saturday, which makes Tottenham flipping their clash with Leicester City highly unlikely.<\/p>\n
The visit of rivals Leeds to Old Trafford is one of the most heavily policed matches on the calendar, while large resources would also be needed for Liverpool\u2019s trip to Stamford Bridge.<\/p>\n
