{"id":219108,"date":"2022-09-29T10:43:13","date_gmt":"2022-09-29T09:43:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/?p=219108"},"modified":"2022-09-29T10:43:13","modified_gmt":"2022-09-29T09:43:13","slug":"2023-tinubu-camp-reacts-to-bloomberg-poll-favouring-peter-obi-to-win-presidential-election","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2022\/09\/29\/2023-tinubu-camp-reacts-to-bloomberg-poll-favouring-peter-obi-to-win-presidential-election\/","title":{"rendered":"2023: Tinubu camp reacts to Bloomberg Poll favouring Peter Obi to win presidential election"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Tinubu\/Shettima Campaign group has reacted to a poll by International news organisation, Bloomberg, on the 2023 Presidential Elections. <\/p>\n<p>Recall that the Bloomberg poll released on Wednesday showed that the candidate of the Labour Party, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2022\/09\/28\/2023-bloomberg-poll-shows-peter-obi-most-likely-to-win-presidential-election\/\">Peter Obi is favourite to become Nigeria\u2019s next President.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Reacting to the poll, Chief Spokesperson Tinubu\/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, Festus Keyamo (SAN) on Wednesday described as the poll as \u201cdelusional\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The presidential election scheduled for February next year is expected to be a three-horse race between Labour Party\u2019s Peter Obi, the All Progressives Congress\u2019 Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Peoples Democratic Party\u2019s Atiku Abubakar.<\/p>\n<p>According to Bloomberg, a clear majority of respondents to the opinion poll said they intend to vote for Obi, former Anambra State governor as the next president.<\/p>\n<p>Responding, Keyamo in a tweet on his official Twitter handle said \u201cThe report of @BloombergAfrica said it used an APP to conduct an opinion poll in Nigeria where more than 95% don\u2019t have access to such apps\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis style is even lower in credibility than when you send people to the field.
