{"id":220336,"date":"2022-10-06T03:50:40","date_gmt":"2022-10-06T02:50:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/?p=220336"},"modified":"2022-10-06T03:50:40","modified_gmt":"2022-10-06T02:50:40","slug":"kebbi-suspects-arrested-for-cutting-off-12-year-old-boys-penis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2022\/10\/06\/kebbi-suspects-arrested-for-cutting-off-12-year-old-boys-penis\/","title":{"rendered":"Kebbi: Suspects arrested for cutting off 12-year-old boy&#8217;s penis"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Two suspects, Mansur Musa and Aminu Musa, have been arrested by the police for allegedly cutting off a 12-year-old boy\u2019s penis and one other for raping an 8-year-old girl in Kebbi State.<\/p>\n<p>The State Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Magaji Kontagora, disclosed this while parading some suspected criminals at the police headquarters in Birnin Kebbi on Wednesday, October 5, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>The CP disclosed that other suspects were arrested for armed robbery, murder, theft, receiving stolen goods and house breaking.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;On the 24th September 2022 at about 12000hrs, one Ismail Idris \u2018m\u2019 aged 12yrs of Garin Baka village, Birnin Yauri District of Ngaski LGA, was found lying down unconscious in a pool of his blood along Unguwar Koda forests with his manhood (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2022\/08\/28\/zambia-jealous-wife-cuts-sleeping-husbands-penis-after-argument-over-cheating-suspicions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">penis<\/a>) cut off by unknown person(s),&#8221; he stated.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The victim was rushed to Federal Medical Centre, Birnin Kebbi, for medical attention. On receipt of the report, a team of detectives was detailed to investigate and they succeeded in arresting one Mansur Musa and Aminu Musa all \u2018m\u2019 of the same address in connection with the case. The case is under investigation and will soon be charged to court after the completion of an investigation.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The police boss said one Danjuma Adamu was arrested in Koko\/Besse Local Government Area of the state for raping an 8-year-old girl.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn the 16th September 2022 at about 1300hrs, one Danjuma Adamu a.ka Tanko \u2018m\u2019 aged 30yrs of Zariya Kala-Kala village, Koko\/Besse LGA, dubiously took one Aisha Faruku \u2018f\u2019 aged 8yrs of the same address, who was selling beans cake, into the house of one Umaru Dauda and forcefully had <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2022\/10\/04\/man-rapes-neighbours-daughter-to-death-in-kano\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sexual intercourse<\/a> with her and gave her two hundred naira (N200)<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Later, the suspect also gave the said Umaru Dauda two hundred naira (N200) for using his room to perpetrate his evil intention. The case is still under investigation and will be charged to court as soon as the investigation is completed.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Similarly, on the 26th September 2022 at about 1130rs, the suspect, one Bashir Ibrahim, \u2018m\u2019, of Kangiwa town, deceitfully took his unsounded mind sister, named Hajara Abdullahi, into a drainage and forcefully had sexual intercourse with her. The case is under investigation and the suspect will soon be charged to court,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Kontagora, also disclosed that one man, Bahago Kofa was macheted to death by a suspect, Isaac in Kuraje village, Ngaski LGA of the state over witchcraft allegation.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;On the 23rd September 2022 at about 1330hrs, one Isaac, \u2018m\u2019, of Kuraje village, Ngaski LGA, went to the house of one Bahago Kofa \u2018m\u2019 of the same address and machete him with an axe on his head for suspecting him to have been a witch. As a result, the victim died while receiving treatment. The suspect has confessed to the crime and investigation into the case is ongoing.&#8221; the commissioner said.<\/p>\n<p>The police also arrested suspects behind the breaking into a RIFAN warehouse in Suru town where they allegedly stole water pumping machines, sprayers, fertilizers and herbicides worth over N11 million.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;In the course of the investigation, one Faruku Bello, \u2018m\u2019, of Suru was arrested for assisting the thieves to transport the stolen items. When interrogated, he mentioned one Sani Umar, Umar Musa, Alh Nura Abdullahi and Mustapha Abubakar, all \u2018m\u2019, of Birnin Kebbi and Gwandu LGAS respectively, who were all subsequently arrested and have confessed to the commission of the crime,&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Investigation further reveals that the said Alh Nura Abdullahi received all the stolen items and so far, nine (9) water pumping machines and forty-five (45) cartons of herbicide chemicals have been recovered. An investigation is ongoing with a view to recovering the remaining stolen items.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Kontagora added that about eleven cows rusticated by bandits in Jambale village, Bena district of Danko\/Wasagu were recovered from them after guns duel with the policemen in combination with vigilante, and members of Yansakai.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;On the 4th October, 2022 at about 0715hrs, information received reveals that, some armed bandits were sighted along Jambale village, Bena District of Danko\/Wasagu LGA. Consequently a combined team of PMF personnel, Vigilante and members of the Yansakai were instantly mobilized and engaged the bandits into a gun duel. As a result, the bandits abandoned the eleven (11) rustled cows and escaped into the large grown up plantations due to security high fire power. Investigation is ongoing with a view to arresting the fleeing armed men,&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The police boss adviced members of the public to desist from taking laws into their hands, but refer all their grievances to the appropriated authorities for redress.<\/p>\n<p>In the same vain, he appealed on the NURTW and NARTO officials to warn their members on the dangers of over speeding in order to avoid loss of life and property.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Command expects maximum cooperation from the general Public by providing useful information or report suspicious person (s) to the nearest Police station for prompt response.&#8221; he concluded.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Two suspects, Mansur Musa and Aminu Musa, have been arrested by the police for allegedly cutting off a 12-year-old boy\u2019s penis and one other for raping an 8-year-old girl in Kebbi State.
