Amotekun<\/a> Corps, David Akinremi, who disclosed this in a statement on Thursday in Abeokuta, said the suspect who is an indigene of Warri in Delta State was arrested following an alarm raised by some members of the community who suspected his movement.<\/p>\nAkinremi said, \u201cWhen the suspect was searched, three bloodstained wet female pants were found in his possession for which he could not give any satisfactory explanation.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cHe, (suspect) however claimed to have removed them from dustbins, but insisted he does not know the exact location where he picked them from.\u201d<\/p>\n
He said that Ikpeha was suspected to be working for a syndicate who were into rituals.<\/p>\n
Akinremi said the suspect has been transferred to the police for further investigation and possible prosecution.<\/p>\n
The commander also disclosed that the corps also arrested eight suspected fraudsters for allegedly swindling unsuspected members of the public of the sum of N15million.<\/p>\n
Akinremi gave the names of the suspects as Hadi Ibikanmi (20), Hounkpe Stephen (29), Ayinla Ibikanmi (23), Lepe Omoniyi (26), Olabisi Opeifa (29), Sulaimon Yakub (25), Samuel Ayerin (24) and Juliet Maderubami (28).<\/p>\n
He explained that the suspects were arrested on Friday, September 30 at their hideout in the Idi-Iroko area of the Ipokia local government area of the state.<\/p>\n
According to him, the suspects defrauded their victims on the pretence of online business investment and also facilitated admission for them in a foreign university.<\/p>\n
The corps commander disclosed that the suspects were previously operating in Benin Republic, but relocated to Nigeria after they were dislodged by the Benenois authority.<\/p>\n
Operatives of the Ogun State Security Network, Amotekun Corps have arrested a 30-year-old man, Felix Ikpeha for being in possession of three bloodstained wet female pants.<\/p>\n
The arrest was gathered to have taken place in Imo-Ayo community, Ajibawo Atan Ota in the Ado-Odo\/Ota local Government Area of the state.<\/p>\n
