Super Eagles goalkeeper Francis Uzoho has been recognized for impressive display against Manchester United at the Old Trafford on Thursday night.<\/p>\n

Uzoho<\/a> has been nominated for the UEFA Europa League League Player of the Week and Save of the Day awards following his great showing at the “Theatre of Dreams”.<\/p>\n

The 23-year-old was moments away from finishing one of the greatest goalkeeping displays Old Trafford had seen before Scott McTominay struck deep into stoppage time.<\/p>\n

Manchester United won the game 1-0 to maintain their unbeaten run in the competition.<\/p>\n

Uzoho made 11 outstanding saves in the encounter.<\/p>\n

It was only his second appearance in the competition for the Cypriot club this season.<\/p>\n

The goalie will battle Vitor Oliveira, Joey Veerman and William Boving for the Player of the Week award.<\/p>\n
