Former presidential spokesperson and APC chieftain, Olorogun Ima Niboro, has stated that the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has the experience and capacity to govern Nigeria.<\/p>\n

Niboro insisted on Monday on Channels Television’s Politics Today that the former Lagos State Governor is the most competent of the presidential candidates.<\/p>\n

Niboro, who also serves as the Delta APC<\/a> Campaign Organization’s Director of Communications and Media Strategy, stated that Nigeria requires a visionary leader like Tinubu to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari.<\/p>\n

Tinubu<\/a>, according to the former Managing Director of the News Agency of Nigeria, was a man with innovative thinking who touched every aspect of Lagos as governor between 1999 and 2007. He claimed that his successors have built on his legacies to make Lagos the centre of attention.<\/p>\n

\u201cI will tell you straight away that leadership is the first key if you look at Tinubu\u2019s seven-point agenda. You cannot achieve anything without the right leadership. And Tinubu is prepared to provide leadership. If you get leadership right, many things will fall into place. And that is where we are going in the next dispensation of APC.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cWe have had leadership in the past seven years, and we are getting leadership for the next eight years God-willing. And it\u2019s going to be APC\u2019s leadership because the APC candidate has the right experience and knowledge of what needs to be done,\u201d<\/em> he said.<\/p>\n

He said on the challenge of insecurity, \u201cThese issues are very clear. No government toys with insecurity. No government is not serious about insecurity. Nigeria is confronted with a unique scenario. People are learning on the job every day to solve these problems. We know how these things started. It doesn\u2019t mean that no government is not ready to tackle it. But these are new things, and government learns every day\u201d.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

According to him, the message of the APC Presidential candidate resonates with the youth, adding that \u201cThe young people of Nigeria support our presidential candidate. We see a lot of movements around the Labour Party. But in APC, we have always had vibrant, imaginative, and brilliant young people. And we still have them. The youth echelon of APC is constant, solid and totally in support of Bola Ahmed Tinubu to bring us to a new dispensation. We don\u2019t have any disconnect with the youth at all\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
