Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki, has warned Nigerians against supporting the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2023, noting that no one in the right frame of mind will support the ruling party.<\/p>\n

Obaseki on Monday spoke at the inauguration of the Edo State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Campaign Council.<\/p>\n

The governor said the Nigeria\u2019s debt would soon hit N60trillion, a situation that would affect generations.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur heads should be examined as citizens if we contemplate voting for a government like APC.<\/p>\n

\u201cLike I said, God forbid APC comes into power. This country will break up\u2026his country will fail.\u201d<\/p>\n

Obaseki stressed that \u201cnobody has done the kind of damage the APC government has done\u201d.<\/p>\n

The governor told party members and supporters that he does not know how the nation will recover.<\/p>\n

Obaseki said his heart was \u201cbeating\u201d, and that by the time PDP\u2019s Atiku Abubakar wins, \u201cwe will not be able to sleep day and night\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe debt of Nigeria is going to N60trillion. When are we going to get out of it?<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery day, every month they are printing (money). When I spoke more than a year ago, I did not know it was as bad as this.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat will happen to the naira, only God will help us. They have destroyed the bases of this country\u201d, he declared.<\/p>\n
