{"id":225143,"date":"2022-10-29T05:33:37","date_gmt":"2022-10-29T04:33:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/?p=225143"},"modified":"2022-10-29T05:33:37","modified_gmt":"2022-10-29T04:33:37","slug":"tinubu-wont-abuse-court-judgment-keyamo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2022\/10\/29\/tinubu-wont-abuse-court-judgment-keyamo\/","title":{"rendered":"Tinubu won\u2019t abuse court judgment \u2013 Keyamo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The chief spokesperson for All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council, Festus Keyamo, has said the party\u2019s Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, will not abuse court judgement.<\/p>\n<p>Keyamo said Tinubu will not abuse the rule of law as he was a victim of military brutality in his struggle for Democracy.<\/p>\n<p>He stated this during an interview with PUNCH in Abuja.<\/p>\n<p>The Minister of State for Labour noted that Tinubu has chronicled his proposed reform for the Nigerian judiciary in his 80-page <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2022\/10\/23\/2023-lp-pdp-others-react-to-tinubus-manifesto\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">manifesto<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>He said the former Lagos State governor was the most prepared of all the four contenders for the highest office in the land.<\/p>\n<p>Keyamo said, \u201cWe have his plan about reforms and respect for the rule of law in our manifesto. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2022\/10\/28\/tinubu-most-progressive-among-governor-of-99-class-nnamani\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tinubu<\/a> himself who was one of the greatest victims of military brutality, whose government then in Lagos was a victim of disobedient of the Supreme Court Judgment regarding Local Government funds.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe has been a victim of it. I believe he also knows where the shoe pinches. Among the four leading aspirants, as we called them even though we know they are three, none of them fought for Democracy as much as Asiwaju. This is what the media knows very well. It is not a matter of blowing one\u2019s trumpet. We don\u2019t have to prove anything as well.
