Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, has named a road leading to the house of National Chairman of the People\u2019s Democratic Party, PDP as Governor Nyesom Wike road.<\/p>\n

Ortom named the road after Wike during the visit of the five governors of the PDP known as G5 for the commissioning ceremony of some projects on Monday.<\/p>\n

The road, which is behind the Commissioner\u2019s Quarters in Makurdi and which leads to Ayu\u2019s house, was inaugurated by a former governor of Benue, Gabriel Suswam.<\/p>\n

The PDP G5<\/a> that attended the event alongside Ortom were Governors Seyi Makinde (Oyo), Nyesom Wike (Rivers), Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia), and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu).<\/p>\n

Recall that the PDP G5 have demanded for the resignation of Iyorchia Ayu<\/a> as PDP national chairman, saying northerners should not be the PDP national chairman and presidential candidate.<\/p>\n

Before the inauguration, the G5 took time to address PDP supporters at a rally organised to drum support for all PDP candidates in Benue including the Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly and PDP governorship candidate in the state, Titus Uba.<\/p>\n

Last night, Wike said the PDP G5 are bonded to save Nigeria and nobody can break their ranks in their continued insistence that Ayu should resign as the national chairman of the party.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople have tried to see how they can break us, you cannot. We are bonded to save Nigeria.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat is why when you see all of us, we are impenetrable. Nobody can divide us. They have tried everything in this world to divide us, but no way.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe way we operate; I will talk, we have people who don\u2019t talk. You may be underrating them. By the time they will shock you, you will think it is Wike, it is not Wike you are seeing,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
