On Monday night, Real Madrid’s unbeaten start to the LaLiga season came to an end when they were defeated 3-2 by Rayo Vallecano.<\/p>\n

The hosts opened the scoring in the first half through Santi Comesana<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Four minutes before halftime, Eder Militao’s header gave Madrid the lead after Luka Modric had equalised from the penalty spot.<\/p>\n

However, as Alvaro Rivera’s brutal strike crept in, both teams went into the locker rooms.<\/p>\n

With just under 20 minutes remaining, Rayo took back the lead thanks to a retaken Oscar Trejo penalty.<\/p>\n

It was Andoni Iraola\u2019s side who continued<\/a> to press in the remainder of the game, clearly intent on routing their city rivals\u2019 unbeaten streak.<\/p>\n
