Nwano, of the State Criminal Investigations Department, said the accused person on Saturday, October 1, 2022, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2022\/08\/26\/magistrate-judge-allegedly-stabbed-to-death-by-estranged-wife-in-kebbi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">stabbed<\/a> Eduno in his chest with a knife, which caused his death at the Mount Olive Housing Estate, Nkwelle-Ezunaka.<\/p>\n<p>Nwano said the offence was punishable under Section 274 (1) of the Criminal Code, Cap. 36, Vol. II, Revised Laws of Anambra State of Nigeria, 1991.<\/p>\n<p>The prosecutor asked the court to remand the accused.<\/p>\n<p>The defence counsel, Pere Oseme, prayed the court to grant his client bail.<\/p>\n<p>The presiding Magistrate, C.C.
