{"id":228574,"date":"2022-11-15T10:38:36","date_gmt":"2022-11-15T09:38:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/?p=228574"},"modified":"2022-11-15T10:38:36","modified_gmt":"2022-11-15T09:38:36","slug":"adamawa-completes-347-6km-feeder-roads","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2022\/11\/15\/adamawa-completes-347-6km-feeder-roads\/","title":{"rendered":"Adamawa completes 347.6km feeder roads"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Adamawa government says it has constructed 347.6 kilometers feeder roads across the 21 local government areas of the state.<\/p>\n<p>The Commissioner for Rural, Infrastructure and Community Development, Abdullahi Prambe said this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2022\/11\/10\/adamawa-man-kills-stepfather-while-testing-charm\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Yola<\/a> on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>He said the projects had been executed in the past three years under the low volume infrastructure initiative of Gov. Ahmadu Fintiri\u2019s administration.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the project is designed to open up rural communities and link them with urban centers as well as ease movement of goods and services.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe initiative will also expand access to the communities to boost their economic activities,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The government, he said, also restored power supply to Michika and Madagali, hitherto vandalised by the insurgents.<\/p>\n<p>Prambe said the newly constructed cottage hospitals at Girei, Song, Gombi, Guyuk and Shellang had been connected to the national grid.<\/p>\n<p>The Commissioner said the government also spent N10 million on minor repairs of broken boreholes, culverts and water ways to enhance community development.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Adamawa government says it has constructed 347.6 kilometers feeder roads across the 21 local government areas of the state.
