{"id":228671,"date":"2022-11-15T19:12:37","date_gmt":"2022-11-15T18:12:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/?p=228671"},"modified":"2022-11-15T19:12:37","modified_gmt":"2022-11-15T18:12:37","slug":"ogun-prophet-defiles-two-teenage-sisters-impregnates-one","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2022\/11\/15\/ogun-prophet-defiles-two-teenage-sisters-impregnates-one\/","title":{"rendered":"Ogun: Prophet defiles two teenage sisters, impregnates one"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>30-year-old Prophet, Joseph Ogundeji, has been arrested by the police for allegedly defiling two underage sisters of his church at Ajuwon in Ifo Local Government area of Ogun State.<\/p>\n<p>The State Police Spokesman, SP Abimbola Oyeyemi, who confirmed this in a statement on Tuesday explained that Ogundeji, was arrested on Nov. 11 following a complain lodged at Ajuwon Divisional Headquarters by the father of the two girls, who reported that he discovered that his 16-year-old daughter is pregnant.<\/p>\n<p>According to the father, when he inquired to know who is responsible for the pregnancy. it was discovered that Ogundeji is the one who impregnated her.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUpon the report, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Ajuwon Division, SP Andrew Akinseye, detailed his detectives to effect the arrest of the randy prophet.<\/p>\n<p>He said that on interrogation, the prophet admitted that he actually committed the crime.<\/p>\n<p>Oyeyemi explained further that it was discovered that the said <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2022\/08\/29\/prophet-remanded-in-prison-for-allegedly-raping-impregnating-two-sisters-in-kaduna\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">prophet<\/a> did not only have carnal knowledge of the 16-years-old girl, he also slept with her 13-year-old younger sister.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-228674 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2022\/11\/kunlenet07\/2022\/11\/15\/Prophet-Joseph-Ogundeji-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"800\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2022\/11\/kunlenet07\/2022\/11\/15\/Prophet-Joseph-Ogundeji-2.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2022\/11\/kunlenet07\/2022\/11\/15\/Prophet-Joseph-Ogundeji-2-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2022\/11\/kunlenet07\/2022\/11\/15\/Prophet-Joseph-Ogundeji-2-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2022\/11\/kunlenet07\/2022\/11\/15\/Prophet-Joseph-Ogundeji-2-768x768.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>He said that the two victims (sisters) informed the police that whenever they have vigil in the church, the prophet who lives very close to the church will ask them to go and stay in his house after the vigil which always comes to an end around 3 am.<\/p>\n<p>The sisters stated further that any time they stayed in the prophet\u2019s house, he used to give them something to lick, and after licking it, they will sleep off only to wake up and discovered that the prophet had slept with them.<\/p>\n<p>Oyeyemi said that the victims decided to inform the police rather than their parents because the suspect threatened to kill any of them that revealed the secret.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, Lanre Bankole, has directed that the suspect should be transferred to the anti-human trafficking and child labour unit of the state Criminal Investigation Departments for further investigation and possible prosecution.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>30-year-old Prophet, Joseph Ogundeji, has been arrested by the police for allegedly defiling two underage sisters of his church at Ajuwon in Ifo Local Government area of Ogun State.
