Six Bureau De Change operators have been arrested by the police for kidnapping their colleagues’ eight-year-old child in Lagos State.<\/p>\n

The state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, who made this known in a tweet on Monday, said the boy was released after three days.<\/p>\n

Hundeyin said investigation revealed that the suspects were working in the same business district with the victim\u2019s father, adding that the suspects would be charged after investigation.<\/p>\n

The PPRO said, \u201cThese six (suspects) conspired and kidnapped the eight-year-old child of a BDC operator. The child was released three days later bound hands and feet in a sack.<\/p>\n

\u201cPreliminary investigation reveals that all the suspects are fellow BDC operators<\/a> in the same business district of Lagos. The suspects will be arraigned at the end of investigation.\u201d<\/p>\n

In another development, Hudenyin in a tweet on Tuesday, said policemen attached to the Ajah Police Station arrested two suspected cultists in the Ajah area of the state.<\/p>\n

He explained that the suspects were arrested after policemen received a distress call that cultists were on a rampage in the area, adding that two locally-made pistols were recovered from them.<\/p>\n

The tweet read, \u201cMen at the Ajah Division responded swiftly to a distress call from Sangotedo that cultists were on rampage. These two (suspects) were arrested with locally-made firearms.
