In keeping with his administration’s dedication to the welfare of public employees, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi recently gave the Enugu State Civil Service Commission (ESCSC) the go-ahead to hold a promotion exercise for qualified staff across the state’s Ministries, Departments, and Agencies.<\/p>\n
In order to fulfill Governor Ugwuanyi’s earlier commitment to fulfill all outstanding promotions for state civil servants, the promotion exercise was conducted.<\/p>\n
In order to take their 2021\/2022 promotional exam, over 3,000 state employees gathered last weekend at the Government Secondary School (GSS), Enugu.<\/p>\n
Speaking on the development, the Chairman of the ESCSC, Mr. Robinson Odo, said that \u201cthe agenda for the 2021\/2022 promotion is to ensure that members of staff who scale through in the exercise are promoted without delay to enable them celebrate the upcoming yuletide as promoted officers.\u201d<\/p>\n
Odo explained that \u201cthe just concluded promotional examination was in written form, and encompassed staff on salary grade levels 07 and above, whose briefs had earlier been received by the commission.\u201d<\/p>\n
He added that the \u201cESCSC has announced that the oral interview for the promotion exercise will be held from November 22 to 29, 2022, at the commission\u2019s premises, at 9am daily.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Chairman disclosed that all hands have been on deck both at the commission and the MDAs levels to ensure that the promotion processes were successful.<\/p>\n
