A final year student of Federal Polytechnic, Oko, in Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra State, has reportedly taken his own life after his romantic relationship hit the rock. <\/p>\n
According to a source who spoke in confidence, the young man (in his mid-20s) was in the place of his industrial attachment when the devastating news broke that he has been spurned by his partner.<\/p>\n
The late student was said to be a promising and brilliant young man who was on the brink of making Distinction in the Department of Public Administration.<\/p>\n
Another source said he drank insecticide when he couldn\u2019t bear the shock of being heartbroken.<\/p>\n
However, the institution has not issued a statement regarding the incident. <\/p>\n
