The presidency has said president Muhammadu Buhari will address all forms of insecurity challenges before handing over power to his successor in 2023.<\/p>\n

The Special Adviser to the president on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina, made this known in Abuja on Wednesday at a yearly conference on security and communication.<\/p>\n

Adesina said that the hydra-headed monster of insecurity would be a thing of the past before the next general elections<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The presidential spokesperson, who presided over the conference, remarked that indices across the country have confirmed that the country was gradually overcoming the insecurity challenges inherited by Buhari.<\/p>\n

Adesina referred to some crisis-ridden parts of the nation, adding that the situation has calmed down in the past few months.<\/p>\n

\u201cAlthough some people, for reasons best known to them, would not agree, the fact and the truth is that Nigeria is overcoming the insecurity challenges.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe situation is calming down, and the President, Muhammadu Buhari, will leave the country better than he inherited it.<\/p>\n

\u201cSecurity is daily getting better and President Buhari will win the war before he hands over power next year\u201d, he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
