{"id":230664,"date":"2022-11-24T13:02:31","date_gmt":"2022-11-24T12:02:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/?p=230664"},"modified":"2022-11-24T13:02:31","modified_gmt":"2022-11-24T12:02:31","slug":"fire-guts-popular-nta-motor-park-in-jos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2022\/11\/24\/fire-guts-popular-nta-motor-park-in-jos\/","title":{"rendered":"Fire Guts Popular \u2018NTA Motor Park\u2019 In Jos"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The NTA Park, a popular motor park in Jos, has been gutted by fire.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Matthew Edogbonya, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Federal Fire Service in Plateau, was unavailable to comment on the matter as he said to be engaged at the scene of the fire.<\/p>\n<p>A senior <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2022\/11\/05\/why-ndlea-wants-to-build-barracks-for-its-officers-marwa\/\">officer<\/a> of the service, who preferred anonymity, confirmed the situation to NAN in Jos.<\/p>\n<p>The officer said the source of the fire was still unknown, adding that the service had deployed its men to contain the situation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dThe PRO and other key officers of the command are on the scene of the fire indient and can\u2019t talk now.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dWe can\u2019t say what is the cause of fire outbreak, but our men have been deployed to the scene to prevent further damage by the fire.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dAt the moment we can\u2019t say the level of damage, our immediate concern is to stop the fire from destroying property and human lives, \u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>NAN reports that the motor park is located opposite the NTA Jos Network Centre on the Yakubu Gowon way, Jos<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The NTA Park, a popular motor park in Jos, has been gutted by fire.
