A Reverend Father, Peter Ochang, has been kidnapped somewhere in Nasarawa State.<\/p>\n
Ochang is the chaplain RCM Parish in the Alok Catholic Diocese of Ogoja in Cross River State. <\/p>\n
He was kidnapped alongside several members of St Jude Society while they were travelling to Abuja on Thursday for important church events. <\/p>\n
They were ambushed and taken into the bush.<\/p>\n
The news of their kidnap was broken during morning Mass today by Rev Fr Dr Fidelis Kajibia, the Administrator of St Benedict\u2019s Cathedral, Igoli Ogoja.<\/p>\n
He said it was not yet certain how many members of St Jude Society were traveling with him.<\/p>\n
The Chairman of Diocesan Education Board, Catholic Diocese of Ogoja, Peter Nandi Bette also confirmed it on his Facebook page early Friday morning.<\/p>\n
