{"id":23320,"date":"2021-04-19T13:28:55","date_gmt":"2021-04-19T12:28:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/?p=23320"},"modified":"2021-04-19T13:28:55","modified_gmt":"2021-04-19T12:28:55","slug":"amnesty-programme-coordinator-era-of-armed-struggle-in-niger-delta-over","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2021\/04\/19\/amnesty-programme-coordinator-era-of-armed-struggle-in-niger-delta-over\/","title":{"rendered":"Amnesty Programme Coordinator: Era of armed struggle in Niger Delta over"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Interim administrator of presidency amnesty programme (PAP), Milland Dikio 1<span style=\"text-transform: initial\">has stated that the era of violence amd armed struggle in the Niger Delta region is over.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>This was stated by Dikio at the graduation of 200 delegates of PAP at Bradama International Skill Works Ltd in Ondo state on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>He added that this has \u201cgiven way to new ideas in intellectual space, driven by science and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2021\/04\/15\/breaking-fg-lifts-ban-on-registration-of-new-sims\/\">technology<\/a> to advance speedy development and growth of the people\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Dikio said the success story of PAP had shown that given the right orientation and skill, youths from the region could rise to the technological challenge of the 21st century as an alternative to armed struggle.<\/p>\n<p>He asked the graduates to leave with a spirit of excellence and said he hoped they will make a difference in the world.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are here to celebrate what is possible in the Niger Delta region and beyond by reorientation and re-dedication of our core values as a people toward seeking better living conditions for everyone,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am going to charge you (graduands) to leave here with the spirit of excellence which the chief executive officer managing director of Bradama International, high chief Bibopere Ajube has excellently demonstrated as a leader of ex- agitators in the region.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs ex-agitators, you don\u2019t need to look any further for mentorship, the managing director\u00a0 of Bradama Intl has competed with the best in the world and continued to stand out among his peers. He is indeed, the new face of technology advancement in emancipation struggle of Niger Delta.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is not an ordinary graduation ceremony, and so, we hold the sixth\u00a0 graduates\u00a0 of Bradama and the first under my watch, in high esteem.
