Maryam Abubakar, the daughter of the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential candidate for the 2023 elections, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar<\/a>, has urged Nigerian students and youths to vote massively for her father in the upcoming presidential election.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, Abubakar spoke at a summit called “Anambra Youths\/Students for Atiku” in Awka, Anambra State.<\/p>\n

Thousands of students and youths from various tertiary institutions and communities across the state attended.<\/p>\n

Her father was described as a strong believer in education and a candidate who would invest heavily in the sector to address its challenges.<\/p>\n

She urged the youths to use their voting power to support her father in the upcoming election.<\/p>\n

She said:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Always believe in yourself, learn from past mistakes and do not be easily distracted.<\/p>\n

Have a strong belief that with your voting strength, you can recover the country.<\/p>\n

The huge investments my father has made in education over the years is a testimony of his strong belief in education.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Also speaking, Ben Obi, Chairman of Atiku\/Okowa Campaign Organisation in Anambra State, described the former Vice President as a lover of students and youths.<\/p>\n

He said that Abubakar was committed to a better Nigeria.<\/p>\n

Obi said:<\/strong><\/p>\n

In Atiku you see a man who believes in education.<\/p>\n

Apart from building a university, Atiku offers scholarships to over 250 students yearly.<\/p>\n
