The Court of Appeal in Abuja on Friday upheld the candidacy of Labour Party\u2019s Chijioke Edeoga for Enugu state<\/a> gubernatorial election.<\/p>\n

The appellate court affirmed Edeoga as the authentic candidate of the Labour Party, LP, for the governorship poll.<\/p>\n

Recall that Justice Evelyn Maha of the Federal High Court, Abuja had set aside Edeoga\u2019s nomination consequent to a suit by Everest Nnaji who claimed that he was excluded from the primary election.<\/p>\n

However, in its judgement, the Appeal Court overturned the earlier judgment and affirmed Edeoga as the true candidate of the party.<\/p>\n
