Abbo had been expelled from the council for his criticism and opposition to the APC&#8217;s Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket.<\/p>\n<p>Justice Danladi also barred the senator from presenting himself as the party&#8217;s candidate for the senatorial district, emphasizing that he is not entitled to any of the rights or privileges accorded to APC members.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2022\/07\/11\/youre-irresponsible-apc-senator-abbo-blasts-tinubu-over-muslim-muslim-ticket-leaves-support-group\/\">Senator Abbo<\/a> responded to the ruling in a statement on Wednesday, calling it a &#8220;cash and carry judgement&#8221; because those who allegedly expelled him from the party are not local government party executives and thus lack the authority to do so.<\/p>\n<p>Senator stated that he would file an appeal in the Court of Appeal and thus urged his supporters to remain calm.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Elisha Abbo, Senator for Adamawa North, has condemned the decision of a State High Court sitting in Yola to deny him re-election.
