The Labour Party has rechristened the Permanent Voter Card (PVC) as the \u2018Peter\u2019s Victory Card\u2019, ahead of the 2023 presidential election.<\/p>\n

The party\u2019s national women leader, Dudu Manuga, stated this in Gombe on Friday, adding that its presidential standard-bearer Peter Obi will redefine governance in Nigeria if elected.<\/p>\n

Manuga said Obi remained the most competent candidate that would meet the expectations of Nigerians.<\/p>\n

According to her, Obi\u2019s experience and impeccable character over the years make him the most suitable candidate that Nigerians should trust with their votes on election day.<\/p>\n

She said the former Anambra State governor was the most qualified to be elected president to make Nigeria better.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe growing acceptance of Peter Obi<\/a> amongst youths and women is because they believe that he would bring a new narrative to governance that will reorder the nation for the benefit of the people,\u201d she explained. \u201cObi will not disappoint Nigerians if elected because he is competent, trustworthy and has the needed integrity to lead the country to greatness.\u201d<\/p>\n

Manuga said as the party\u2019s women leader, she and her team were working to mobilise more women and use their numerical strength to ensure Obi\u2019s victory.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe women are the ones naturally endowed with the capacity to give birth. We have been pregnant, carrying in us the new Nigeria. We are almost at the point of birth, and we are not ready to have a stillbirth or a miscarriage.\u00a0 \u201cThe strength we need to give birth is our Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) which we have tagged \u2018Peter\u2019s Victory Card\u2019,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

The Labour Party<\/a> chieftain added, \u201cWe will use this strength all over the country to push and ensure a new Nigeria is born.\u201d<\/p>\n

She appealed to women and youths to collect their PVCs before the expiration of the INEC deadline and ensure that they vote wisely by voting for Obi.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
