{"id":243837,"date":"2023-01-24T04:19:39","date_gmt":"2023-01-24T03:19:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/?p=243837"},"modified":"2023-01-24T04:19:39","modified_gmt":"2023-01-24T03:19:39","slug":"apc-reacts-to-najaatus-joining-atiku-says-she-was-sacked-for-incompetence-a-mole","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2023\/01\/24\/apc-reacts-to-najaatus-joining-atiku-says-she-was-sacked-for-incompetence-a-mole\/","title":{"rendered":"APC reacts to Naja\u2019atu\u2019s joining Atiku, says she was sacked for incompetence, a mole"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Presidential Campaign Council PCC of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, has reacted to the resignation of one of its directors, Hajia Naja\u2019atu Mohammed, saying she was sacked for incompetence and being a mole in its cold.<\/p>\n<p>WITHIN NIGERIA had reported that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2023\/01\/21\/top-kano-politician-dumps-apc-resigns-from-tinubus-campaign-council\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Naja\u2019atu resigned<\/a> last Saturday, stating that her conscience would not allow her to continue in the APC PCC.<\/p>\n<p>Naja\u2019atu had also said the party\u2019s standard bearer, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu was too sick and possibly suffering from Alzheimer\u2019s disease as he could not hold a teacup when she visited him in London some time ago.<\/p>\n<p>Special Adviser on Public Affairs at the Tinubu Media Office, Mahmud Jega in a statement issued on Monday night in Abuja said although <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2023\/01\/23\/estranged-tinubus-ally-najaatu-muhammad-reveals-unpleasant-details-of-his-health\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Naja\u2019atu<\/a> deceived the gullible public by claiming that she resigned, \u201cher sack letter with ignominy from the campaign and the party had just arrived at her desk\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Jega said the APC PCC received with amusement Mohammed\u2019s hasty \u201cresignation\u201d from her position as Director of Civil Society Organizations \u201cjust before she was sacked for incompetence, quarrelsomeness and after being uncovered to be a mole planted in our winning campaign in order to leak sensitive information to our desperate opponents\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>He added that, \u201cHer desperate, fact-free, machination-filled and imaginary utterances since her sack from the campaign has proved beyond doubt that she was unfit to serve in the first place, until it was discovered that she was actually a mole.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNot being a medical doctor but whose profession in the last three decades was as a political jobber and expert name-dropper, she nevertheless issued a pseudo-medical report on our presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, after a brief meeting in London.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEven the association of native doctors would sack her for quackery and for reaching a medical conclusion without any test\u201d, he stated.<\/p>\n<p>He said despite his position as the clear front runner in the 2023 presidential race, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has been running the most punishing campaign schedule of any of the presidential candidates, and has already visited many parts of the country with an almost non-stop schedule of rallies, town hall meetings and meetings with professional, community, business and religious groups and associations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNaja\u2019atu claimed that when she asked Asiwaju what plans he had for the North, he answered that he had none. This is strange and questions the integrity of the woman and her story.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs\u00edw\u00e1j\u00fa has unfolded an Action plan for the whole country, in which problems bedevilling the North got very comprehensive attention. Asiwaju also attended the Arewa Summit last year, at which he unfolded and elaborated on these programs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs conclusive proof of her unstable and unreliable character, Naja\u2019atu said in her pre-emptive \u201cresignation letter\u201d that she was quitting party politics as the political parties have no ideological differences and her values and beliefs no longer align with party politics.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWithin a day, pictures surfaced in the media showing her meeting with the PDP presidential candidate and declaring her support for him.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll Nigerians must be wondering what kind of \u201cvalues and beliefs\u201d she has apart from opportunism, selfishness and greed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe were least surprised about her dramatic exit, coming after she went on TV to disparage our party and President Muhammadu Buhari.
