{"id":244192,"date":"2023-01-25T09:11:48","date_gmt":"2023-01-25T08:11:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/?p=244192"},"modified":"2023-01-25T09:11:48","modified_gmt":"2023-01-25T08:11:48","slug":"well-link-old-irepo-old-ifedapo-roads-for-economic-growth-makinde","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2023\/01\/25\/well-link-old-irepo-old-ifedapo-roads-for-economic-growth-makinde\/","title":{"rendered":"We\u2019ll link old Irepo, old Ifedapo roads for economic growth \u2013 Makinde"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has pledged to enhance economic viability of the state by linking the old Irepo and old Ifedapo axis.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2023\/01\/19\/just-in-makinde-stays-away-as-atiku-campaigns-in-oyo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">governor<\/a> who took his re-election campaign to Irepo local government area of the state that he will, praised his deputy, Alhaji Bayo Lawal as a trustworthy man.<\/p>\n<p>He said he had been a good representative of the good people of Oke-Ogun and Kisi in particular.<\/p>\n<p>While addressing the non-indigenes at Sooro Village, Makinde said that if he was re-elected, he would implement \u201cOmituntun 2.0\u201d, which he said would centre on sustainable development and consolidation of gains already recorded by the administration under \u201cOmituntun 1.0\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>He charged residents of the council to elect candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the National Assembly, governorship and State House of Assembly elections, adding that his administration has achieved quite a lot in the last 44 months.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The governor said, \u201cIn our next administration, economically, the old Irepo and old Ifedapo will be closely linked together. This is the only place we have started intra-zonal linkage.
