Naja\u2019atu Muhammad, the former APC presidential campaign council\u2019s head of the civil society organisations directorate, says President Muhammadu Buhari is only interested in enjoying the perks that come with the presidency and being called the president but not ready for the actual work of presiding over the affairs of Nigeria. <\/p>\n

He described Buhari as a figurehead and insouciant ruler who has put Yusuf \u2018Tunde\u2019 Sabiu, his nephew, at Nigeria\u2019s helm of affairs.<\/p>\n

She asserted that Buhari is totally indifferent to the parlous state of the nation and does not care about. <\/p>\n

She made the assertion in a THISDAY interview published on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the first place, Buhari does not care about anything. He had never cared. He doesn\u2019t care about the country, nor is he really in charge. He has thrown the country to the dogs. He has a prime minister in the name of his nephew\u2014grand nephew Tunde,\u201d said Muhammad \u201cWhether we want to believe it or not, Tunde is the de facto president.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cI know that even the service chiefs report to him. Tunde is Sabiu. Do you know him?\u201d He\u2019s called Tunde because he was named after Tunde Idiagbon,\u201d she stated.<\/p>\n

Recall that Muhammad, a board member of the Police Service Commission, had told DCL Hausa that APC presidential candidate Bola Tinubu might be battling severe dementia,<\/a> identified by memory loss which also results in loss of the ability to carry on a conversation and respond to the environment.<\/p>\n

The former APC chieftain shift her focus to Buhari, castigating the former military dictator as an heartless and aloof president. She also accused the governor of deliberately turning a blind eye to corruption allegations brought to his attention.<\/p>\n

\u201cOn a few occasions when I had cause to see the president, I had given him in black and white some of the atrocities that are taking place in terms of corruption (and) theft of billions of naira. All he does is frown, and that\u2019s the end of it. He doesn\u2019t care. Sometimes, he tells you, \u2018I don\u2019t know\u2019,\u201d Ms Muhammad revealed. \u201cBut how do you know?
