Cristiano Ronaldo, the Arabian team’s talisman, scored his first goal from the penalty spot in a 2-2 draw with Al Fateh.<\/p>\n

Al Nassr<\/a> were trailing by one goal before Ronaldo’s late penalty tied the game on Friday night.<\/p>\n

The 37-year-old Portuguese star had a great chance to score earlier in the first half. He also had a goal disallowed by the VAR.<\/p>\n

Ronaldo took to social media after the 2-2 draw to celebrate his first league goal for Al Nassr, who reportedly pays him \u00a3175 million per year.<\/p>\n

He shared a series of pictures from the game which he captioned:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Happy to have scored my first goal in the Saudi league and great effort by the whole team to achieve an important draw in a very difficult match!<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner had not scored in his previous two matches after scoring twice for an all-star squad against PSG in a widely publicized friendly earlier in January.<\/p>\n

In either Al Nassr’s Saudi Super Cup loss to Al Ittihad or his league debut against Al Ettifaq, he failed to score.<\/p>\n

With 15 games left in the Saudi league, Al Nassr’s team took the lead after Ronaldo assisted them in stealing a point from the visiting club. They are tied for second place with Al Shabab on 34 points, but they still have one game left.<\/p>\n
