According to the most recent Nextier poll, Labour Party (LP) candidate Peter Obi is the favorite to win Nigeria’s presidential election in 2023.<\/p>\n

According to the poll, Obi is ahead of All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate Bola Tinubu, as well as other candidates, including Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) flagbearer Atiku Abubakar.<\/p>\n

The Labour Party’s Peter Obi leads the poll<\/a> with 37%, followed by the PDP with 27% and the APC with 24%.<\/p>\n

It is understood that the poll was conducted by Nextier SPD, an African-based international development consulting firm and that it was released on Saturday, February 5, 2023.<\/p>\n

The firm released a poll in November 2022 that also put Obi in the lead, but the most recent poll results show the Labour Party candidate has extended his lead over other presidential candidates with only a few days until Nigeria’s 2023 presidential election.<\/p>\n

However, in response to the poll results, the Tinubu\/Shettima Campaign Team’s Director of Media and Publicity, Bayo Onanuga, described the poll as ludicrous on Sunday evening.<\/p>\n

He insisted that putting Obi ahead of Tinubu is simply incorrect.<\/p>\n
