The family of late crossdresser, Emmanuel Ogaebulam, has taken his remains to Anambra State for burial from the Military Hospital in Port Harcourt, Rivers State,<\/p>\n

Recall that the deceased, also known as Emmanuella Ada-Olisa, who paraded himself as a female, was allegedly knocked down by a tricycle operator along Aka Road in Rumuelumeni, Obio\/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State<\/p>\n

The crossdresser<\/a> was on her way home after attending a Church programme when the incident occurred on Saturday, January 31, 2023.<\/p>\n

Clad in female clothing at the time, he was discovered to be a cross-dressing man at the mortuary by the mortician who removed his clothes at the Military Hospital in Port Harcourt.<\/p>\n

Speaking to newsmen in Port Harcourt, Barr Sylvanus Nyeche, lawyer to the tricycle operator<\/a> identified as Peter Okon, said the deceased father had moved the body to Anambra State.<\/p>\n

Nyeche said the father of the crossdresser had appealed to his client (Peter Okon) to assist the family purchase a casket and hire an ambulance which the latter and his family obliged.<\/p>\n

He stated, \u201cWhen we went to the police, the police said let the two families go and discuss. All of a sudden, the father said \u2018I don\u2019t have money. Things are a bit rough for me. If you people can assist us to convey the corpse to Anambra State, that it will be welcomed.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cI spoke with my client\u2019s family and they said that it was ok since human life is involved.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe will buy a coffin for them and then help them hire the ambulance that will convey the corpse. And that was what they did.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nyeche added that, \u201cWe hired an ambulance for N60, 000 and then we got a coffin for N35,000. Altogether it was N95,000. That was my client\u2019s commitment to them and then they said they were not going to bury him immediately.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut that they were just going to convey him to another mortuary in Anambra State. And then he will officially notify the family that their son is dead.<\/p>\n

\u201cThen the family will now make appropriate burial arrangements,\u201d even as he said no date has been fixed for his burial yet.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
