Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has said the G-5 governors fondly called the Integrity Group is either dead or disintegrated and would execute its plan at the February 25 presidential election.<\/p>\n

Wike stated this while speaking on Tuesday during the Rivers\u2019 Peoples Democratic Party, PDP campaign in Ahoada East Local Government Area.<\/p>\n

Despite the claims of disintegration, none of the Governors, including Wike; Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia); Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi Enugu; Samuel Ortom (Benue), and Seyi Makinde (Oyo) participated in the presidential campaign of the PDP.<\/p>\n

Wike said the silence of the G-5 governors<\/a> should not be mistaken for loss of steam insisting that there is time for everything in politics.<\/p>\n

The Governor said people would never know the plan of the G-5 adding that the \u201cmore they look, the less they see\u201d.<\/p>\n

Wike described Senator Lee Maeba, a member of the PDP Presidential Campaign Council in the state as an illiterate for claiming that the G-5 is dead.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cYou people say G-5 is dead. We that you said are dead are not worried. But, you that is alive is worried. We are not talking again, we are not worried. Yet you are worried.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou fail to realise that in politics there is time for talking and time for action. Action has started and 25th February is the D- day.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou can never know what our plans and strategies are no matter how you people pressurise us, we will not disclose our strategy. The more you look, the less you see. None of the vultures can withstand me and talk. Nobody can sell Rivers State for a pot of porridge.\u201d<\/p>\n

Speaking on the decision of the PDP and Atiku to cancel their Rivers\u2019 rally, the governor said the PDP at the centre had never loved the State.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
