Additionally, a trip to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2022\/04\/05\/train-attack-nrc-vows-to-rescue-hostages\/\">Babatunde Fashola Station<\/a> revealed that the ticketing agents only accepted brand-new notes.<\/p>\n<p>One of the officials said the management does not allow bank transfers nor deploy the use of PoS machines, stating it was against their policy.<\/p>\n<p>A passenger who gave his name as Mr. Ahmed Ogunsanya said he had to pay with the little new notes he had on him with a mixture of N100 notes to gain access to the train, pointing out that ticket officials rejected the old notes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI paid with the little new notes I had on me and added N100 notes to it too. The ticket man refused to collect old notes from me. Now I don\u2019t even know if \u2018danfo\u2019 will collect it from me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on the development, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2022\/03\/11\/nrc-reacts-to-report-of-passengers-being-stranded-after-lagos-ibadan-train-allegedly-ran-out-of-fuel\/\">District Manager for Lagos, NRC<\/a>, Augustine Arisa, said there was no cash anywhere, saying \u201ceverybody is faced with the challenge.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He confirmed that the NRC was collecting only new notes.<\/p>\n<p>He said, \u201cWe are not using PoS. If it is not e-ticketing, you pay cash. Until when we are given the go-ahead on e-ticketing.
