The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has cleared all the 20 Local government areas in Ogun State in Saturday’s election.<\/p>\n

This was disclosed at the completion of the collation of results of the presidential election at exactly 11:00 pm on Sunday by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in Ogun<\/a> State.<\/p>\n

The Resident Electoral Commission, Niyi Ijalayem, and the state collation officer, Prof. Kayode Adebowale, coordinated the collation of results held at the state collation centre in Abeokuta.<\/p>\n

The results from all the local governments showed that the APC presidential candidate, Tinubu<\/a>, cleared all the councils.<\/p>\n

Tinubu defeated other candidates including the Peoples Democratic Party\u2019s Atiku Abubakar, the Labour Party\u2019s Peter Obi, and the New Nigeria Peoples Party\u2019s Rabiu Kwankwaso.<\/p>\n

The results after collation are being taken to the national collation centre, Abuja, by Adebowale, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Ibadan, where it will be read and the winner declared.<\/p>\n
