Festus Keyamo, the spokesperson for the Tinubu\/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council of the ruling All Progressives Party (APC), has urged party supporters to celebrate their victory without insulting their political opponents.<\/p>\n
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Bola Tinubu the winner of the 2023 election in the early hours of Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n
Prior to the announcement of the results, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and the Labour Party (LP) claimed that there were irregularities in the electoral body’s collation of the results.<\/p>\n
The opposition parties also demanded that the election results be annulled and Yakubu resign.<\/p>\n
Following Tinubu’s victory, Keyamo urged his fellow party supporters not to taunt opponents during their celebrations.<\/p>\n
