Dermot Gallagher, a former Premier League official, has said Manchester United\u2019s Casemiro deserved to be sent off for his tackle on Southampton midfielder Carlos Alcaraz.<\/p>\n

Casmeiro was sent off during the first half of the league match at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

This is the former Real Madrid star’s second dismissal<\/a> of the season, and he will now miss four games.<\/p>\n

Gallagher said on Sky Sports: \u201cI think definitely I think he lunges in and skims the top of the ball and catches the opponent hard across the shin with his studs. I think it is a red card.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s lost control of his body for that temporary second. The result is bad I think it is a bad tackle.<\/p>\n
