Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal, has expressed sadness over the death of one of his commissioners, Usman Suleiman.<\/p>\n

The Peoples Democratic Party chieftain, who was in charge of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, died on Friday after an illness.<\/p>\n

Tambuwal<\/a> described him as a devout Muslim and a hardworking official who performed well in all the ministries he led.<\/p>\n

The governor condoled with the government and the people of the state, particularly the family and close associates of Suleiman.<\/p>\n

Tambuwal further prayed for the repose of his soul, and beseeched Almighty Allah to grant him Aljannah firdaus as final abode.<\/p>\n

The remains of the traditional title holder of Danmadamin Isa had been laid to rest in accordance with Islamic rites.<\/p>\n

In attendance at his burial were Deputy Governor Mannir Dan\u2019iya, Secretary to the Government Mainasara Ahmad, Head of Service Abubakar Dan-Shehu and State PDP Chairman Bello Goronyo, among others.<\/p>\n
