The Masters of Business Administration program and six other undergraduate degree programs at the university now have renewed full accreditation from the National Universities Commission.<\/p>\n

WITHIN NIGERIA<\/b><\/a> reports this is in accordance with a statement from the university, the accreditation was announced in a letter signed by Arc. S.S. Ikani, Deputy Director of Programme Accreditation, and was based on the findings of the accreditation<\/a> visit in November\/December 2022.<\/p>\n

It read, \u201cThe University regulatory body renewed the full accreditation of the Masters of Business Administration programme, as well as the Bachelor\u2019s degree programmes in Accounting, Computer Science.<\/p>\n

Others are Mass Communication, Architecture, Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Industrial Biotechnology. In the same vein, the Psychology programme was granted full accreditation,\u201d the statement added.<\/p>\n

Caleb conference to initiate innovativeness
\nMeanwhile, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Nosa Owens-Ibie, has emphasised the need for all postgraduate students to work towards the successful completion of their doctorate degree programmes within three years.<\/p>\n

Speaking during the PhD post-field presentation by three students of the Department of Architecture, which was evaluated using global academic benchmarks and criteria, he added that departments should work towards graduating PhD Student<\/a>s within three years time frame.<\/p>\n

Professor of Architecture and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academics), Prof. Adedeji Daramola, who joined the foreign team of assessors in the UK, noted that the purpose of the bilateral academic interaction and evaluation was to make the PhD work in Caleb University more robust and of global quality and standard.<\/p>\n

An Associate Professor from the University of Manchester, Dr Obuks Ejohwomu, organised the virtual interactions. Other global scholars in attendance include Dr Mohammmed Abadi from Syria and currently at the University of Manchester and Dr Enoch Odesola from De Montfort University, UK.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
