Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s (LP) presidential candidate in the recently concluded election, has reacted to the death of Kambilichukwu, the son of Nollywood actor Yul Edochie.<\/p>\n
WITHIN NIGERIA\u00a0reported that\u00a0Kambilichukwu<\/a> fell unconscious and was rushed to the clinic for medical attention but all efforts by the Doctors to resuscitate him proved abortive.<\/p>\n According to reports, the boy had a seizure while playing football with his classmates at school and was rushed to the Mother and Child Hospital. He did not, unfortunately, survive.<\/p>\n Peter Obi expressed his condolences on Twitter, saying that the death of a loved one is painful and that the Edochie family is in their thoughts and prayers.<\/p>\n The former Anambra State governor also prayed to God to give the bereaved family the strength to bear the irreplaceable loss.<\/p>\n He wrote:<\/strong><\/p>\n I send my most sincere condolences to Yul and May Edochie, over the death of their beloved first son Kambilichukwu. Death of a loved one, is always a painful experience, moreso that of a son.<\/em><\/p>\n Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Edochie Family, as we ask God to strengthen and comfort Kambilichukwu\u2019s parents, his doting grandfather Pete Edochie and the entire Edochie family.<\/em><\/p>\n May God Almighty give them the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss, and grant Kambilichukwu eternal rest in his kingdom.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n as we ask God to strengthen and comfort Kambilichukwu's parents, his doting grandfather Pete Edochie and the entire Edochie family.
