Gunmen wreaking havoc in Nigeria’s middle belt have killed one Jacob Wodi Hulobu, the resident pastor of Living Faith Church, in Aloko- Oganenigwu in Dekina LGA of Kogi State<\/a>. <\/p>\n

He was reportedly killed by the gunmen during an invasion of the town on Sunday.<\/p>\n

The pastor was said to have escaped with some of his members to a safer area when they struck during the early morning service.<\/p>\n

According to one of his members, Samuel, the pastor went back to check the state of the church after the attack when the invaders shot and killed him.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe escaped during church service in the morning. He thought everything was calm and went back to check if the church was touched when he was killed,\u201d said Samuel.<\/p>\n

It’s gathered that the pastor, who had earlier posted on his Facebook account on how he escaped the morning attack, died few hours later.<\/p>\n

Hulobu is said to have organised a crusade programme christened, \u2018Let the fire fall : Three nights of Wanders,\u2019 billed to take place between April 13th and 15th in the church before the incident.<\/p>\n
