Reno Omokri, a former presidential media aide, has claimed that Labor Party (LP) presidential candidate Peter Obi is wasting his time at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT).<\/p>\n

Obi, according to Omokri, has no chance of winning the court case.<\/p>\n

Should the tribunal order a rerun, the socio-political activist argued that Obi would receive fewer votes than he did in the presidential election.<\/p>\n

He went on to criticize Obi’s vice presidential candidate, Datti Baba- Ahmed’s, remarks.<\/p>\n

WITHIN NIGERIA recalls that in a recent national television interview, Baba-Ahmed<\/a> asked Nigeria’s Chief Justice not to swear in the President-elect on May 29.<\/p>\n

Speaking on the development, Omokri tweeted;<\/strong><\/p>\n

Seriously, Peter Obi is wasting his time at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal. As things stand, even if the Tribunal orders a rerun, he will get less votes than he did on February 25, 2023. Not only has he destroyed himself, he has set back his region!<\/em><\/p>\n

I read @PeterObi\u2019s statement denying alleged treason. I believe the #NigerianElections2023 was rigged. However, I agree that Datti Baba-Ahmed\u2019s comments were near treasonable.
