{"id":261657,"date":"2023-04-11T08:22:09","date_gmt":"2023-04-11T07:22:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/?p=261657"},"modified":"2023-04-11T08:22:09","modified_gmt":"2023-04-11T07:22:09","slug":"n5-million-phones-recovered-at-crash-scene-in-zaria-frsc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2023\/04\/11\/n5-million-phones-recovered-at-crash-scene-in-zaria-frsc\/","title":{"rendered":"N5 million, phones recovered at crash scene in Zaria: FRSC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>From victims of an accident that happened on the Kaduna-Zaria route, the Federal route Safety Corps retrieved N5,020,660 and 10 cell phones.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement released in Abuja, Assistant Corps Marshal Bisi Kazeem, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2023\/04\/05\/ilesa-akure-road-crash-frsc-returns-n27m-to-victims-family\/\">Corps Public Education Officer, said this.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Although no lives were lost, according to Corps Marshal Dauda Biu.<\/p>\n<p>According to Biu, a Toyota Hiace white bus with the registration number KTG13XG was involved in the accident on Monday at 1:03 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>The FRSC boss said that the cause of the accident was a tyre burst adding that the lone crash which was serious and not fatal, was with some occupants having fractures, cuts and bruises.<\/p>\n<p>He said out of the 11 people in the accident, eight were injured and three survived without injuries.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe N5,020,660, 10 phones and other luggage shall be presented to the family soonest.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe injured victims have been taken to the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, Shika for medical treatment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe palm oil and others were handed over to the chairman of the palm oil sellers union.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe vehicle was towed to base while the recovered money was handed over to the duty room and obstruction was cleared successfully,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The corps marshal commended the Zaria Unit command patrol teams for their commitment to ensuring the safety of the people and for their honesty in recovering such a huge amount of money.<\/p>\n<p>He also expressed his gratitude to operatives for their resilience, professionalism and excellent synergy with other security agencies in their areas of responsibility.<\/p>\n<p>He urged them and their peers across the country to maintain the current momentum charging them and their colleagues across the country to continue to raise the bar in their daily attainments.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From victims of an accident that happened on the Kaduna-Zaria route, the Federal route Safety Corps retrieved N5,020,660 and 10 cell phones.
