Bashir El-Rufai, the son of Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, has reacted to the controversy surrounding Adamawa State’s governorship election.<\/p>\n
In a tweet on Tuesday, Bashir described the state’s controversy as a lose-lose situation for the All Progressives Congress (APC)<\/a> governorship candidate.<\/p>\n Bashir believes that whether Binani wins or loses the governorship election in Adamawa State, the situation is dire.<\/p>\n He stated that if Binani<\/a> wins the governorship election, her victory will be viewed as a robbery.<\/p>\n Bashir also stated that Nigerians will not forgive Binani for allegedly conspiring with the state’s Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Hudu Yunusa Ari, to usurp the election.<\/p>\n Remember that Ari declared Binani the winner of the governorship election on Sunday while the results of the supplementary election were still being tallied.<\/p>\n However, Ari’s declaration was overturned by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).<\/p>\n Bashir in his reaction on Tuesday wrote:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n It is a bad situation whether she wins or loses.
