{"id":26586,"date":"2021-04-27T12:06:42","date_gmt":"2021-04-27T11:06:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/?p=26586"},"modified":"2021-04-27T12:06:42","modified_gmt":"2021-04-27T11:06:42","slug":"38-year-old-woman-dies-while-undergoing-low-budget-tummy-tuck-plastic-surgery-in-mexico","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2021\/04\/27\/38-year-old-woman-dies-while-undergoing-low-budget-tummy-tuck-plastic-surgery-in-mexico\/","title":{"rendered":"38-year-old woman dies while undergoing &#8216;low budget&#8217; tummy tuck plastic surgery in Mexico"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>38-year-old Keuana Weaver died on the operating table while undergoing surgery for a low-budget tummy tuck at a clinic in Tijuana, Mexico.<\/p>\n<p>It was gathered that the mum-of-two died on January 29 during a procedure at a plastic surgery clinic in Tijuana\u2019s Las Torres.<\/p>\n<p>Weaver is understood to have told her family she was thinking about having some &#8220;work done,&#8221; but did not tell them she was going to Mexico.<\/p>\n<p>The deceased\u2019s mum, Renee Weaver said her daughter\u2019s death has left her &#8220;heartbroken&#8221; and is demanding to know what happened, Daily Star reports.<\/p>\n<p>She added that she only discovered Keuana, who was the mother of a 13-year-old and a 1-year-old, was in Mexico when she received a call letting her know her daughter had died.<\/p>\n<p>The San Diego United Tribute claim Renee was sent a letter from the clinic offering to refund the $6,700 (\u00a34831) cost of Keuana Weaver&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2021\/04\/19\/how-gunshot-by-policeman-fiance-slashed-my-sisters-tongue-all-teeth-to-be-removed-sibling\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">surgery<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Keuana isn&#8217;t the only victim of the clinic. She is allegedly one of three women who flew to the city for cosmetic work at a cosmetic surgery clinic and failed to leave unharmed.<\/p>\n<p>A second woman whose identity is unknown, is said to be on dialysis for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2021\/01\/31\/pdp-suspends-member-for-allegedly-celebrating-aibom-political-leaders-death\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">kidney failure<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Another woman is believed to have been hospitalized for two weeks following a procedure at the clinic.<\/p>\n<p>All three women reportedly underwent work with the same doctor, local media have reported.<\/p>\n<p>B\u00e1ez L\u00f3pez hasn&#8217;t commented on the allegations against him and his clinic, with receptionists at his clinic telling reporters L\u00f3pez is unavailable to answer any questions because he is in the middle of surgery.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>38-year-old Keuana Weaver died on the operating table while undergoing surgery for a low-budget tummy tuck at a clinic in Tijuana, Mexico.
